HÄGGSJÖBRÄNNA GÅRD

Into to the wild, almost 18 km up on a dirt road in the remote mountains you will find Häggsjöbränna gård, located 850 m above sea level. It is what we in Sweden call a "Fjällgård" based in Åre Kommun, County Region of Jämtland.

Not far away is the land where the Sami people have their reindeers, Häggsjöbränna gård is close to the Norwegian border, in between the cities Trondheim and Östersund.

As far as we know the last people managing the farm had cattle in the barn in the late 70:es. They used to grow potatoes, carrots and kale root. People came here to buy milk, egg and vegetables.

We will keep the landscape open by our sheep and goats.
